Don’s passion is to lead people to discover Jesus and see how their lives can change as they come to know and follow Him. Don and Tracee began planting Crown Pointe in 2005 with the desire that CP would be a place where Christians will become “Winners in Life and Winners in Eternity”. Pastor Don has been involved in ministry both as a pastor and a lay leader for over 20 years.

Prior to becoming a full-time Associate Pastor of The Gathering Place Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Sam Hinn, Don served as a Florida State Trooper for 15 years. Don and Tracee raised their three college aged children, Brittnee, Ashlee, and Hunter in Winter Springs.

Don holds a BA Degree in Biblical Theology and has completed other biblical studies. He has been a licensed minister since 1993.

Don enjoys Nascar, country music and coaching Freshmen football at Winter Springs High School.

Tracee believes fully in building strong families with a faith based foundation in God. She spent several years as a stay at home mom supporting and nurturing her children. She also served in church leadership with Don in several different capacities, her favorite of which is hospitality. She has hosted a multitude of leadership meetings, church gatherings and home groups. She created the “Bistro” (a coffee bar) at the Gathering Place church.

She is a strong woman of faith and an intercessor. She attended Florida State University and met the love of her life, Don, while in college. She has also written a children’s adventure novel which teaches kids to hear God’s voice. She ran for Mrs. Florida America to promote her book and placed in the top five. She also worked at Strang Communications (a Christian publisher) for several years.

She currently works as the assistant to the president of a major publishing company. She loves Tim McGraw (sorry Don), line dancing with her kids, decorating and shopping.

 The mission of Crown Pointe is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ first through ourselves and then to our community through word, deeds and random acts of kindness. Our deepest desire is to become followers of Christ and to call others to do the same!

The vision of Crown Pointe Church is to grow a strong church body full of individuals and families who make a difference  for God at work, in our communities, our school systems and sporting activities!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and the Bible is the revealed will of God

In the triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ is true God and true man

That Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died for the remission of our sins, rose from the dead in victory and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation

Salvation has been provided for all men through the shed blood of Jesus Christ

In an eternal place of happiness for the saved and an eternal place of separation for the lost

Divine healing is provided in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and is now available to every believer

In the sanctification process, that holiness comes through a personal relationship with Jesus

There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust

In water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit
